The Astral Dare to Dream project was launched in 2015 using Astral’s extensive stock, staff, and expertise to help support and facilitate creative endeavour and education where it would otherwise not been impossible. It’s an important part of our work to educate and to help facilitate artistic and creative endeavour. Dare To Dream has spawned many exiting projects with students and young people across three continents.This work has taken us to some outstanding locations to realise productions in collaboration both here in the uk and abroad. The Astral Dare to Dream project also spawned Astral Africa an independent project in Nigeria and is now running as an independent organisation facilitating theatre, music and events across Africa. Astral Dare to Dream Project was able to co-produce Mama Africa the musical at the national theatre in Cape Town in 2017, we are planning to bring it to the Uk later in 2020 after delaying bringing it here until after the Covid crisis.
