The event team at Astral Design is a very tight unit, the core team have worked together closely for 20 years. these key members of our staff started with us as teenagers, as such they’ve grown up within the event industry with a passion for design and creativity above everything else.
Our staff and crew have taken on board our ethic of creativity and innovation to such an extent they have no other way of working. They are a team to be proud of. As they have developed with us they have brought onboard more staff and freelancers. In their enthusiasm have shown more recent additions to output a creative route in the industry so now we have access to an unbeatable pool of freelancers at the very top of their game that are fully conversant in all that we do.
At Astral Design we have one main mantra.

We like what we do to big, bright and bold. It can be theatre, music, a festival, or corporate event. We are comfortable in any production discipline. We just don’t like half measures and really like to do the very best we can with the resources available. We like it artistic and creative in the extreme. We aim to network and collaborate with like minded producers and creatives in the pursuance of the ultimate in creative endeavour.

James
James is in an endless search for interesting and inspiring projects that stretch both his and the teams abilities and horizons. In his spare time James skateboards with his teenage daughter and attends physiotherapy sessions in equal measure.
Chris
Chris is meticulous at planning and writes a mean and relentless list. He’s always on site too chasing our particular dreams.
In his spare time he focuses on facial hair.
Kevin
Kevin like Chris has grown up with Astral and is also a critical part of our team. Kevin is relentless in his pursuit of the creative solutions, and implementation in the field.
In his spare time he is an Uber dad.
James
James is a cracking allrounder with a licence to drive just about anything. He has proven himself to be an invaluable part of our team.
In his spare time we think he may like to go climbing in remote places.
Lee
Lee is our newest team member,he too has earned his place amongst us. Lee is a veteran events with boundless energy and a wry sense of humour.
We don’t know much about Lee’s spare time.
Yasoda
Yasoda sits in the background and emerges to provide those that attend the warehouse with exceptional breakfasts at just the right time ( and other meals schedule permitting)
Her food is made from all manner of fine ingredients and is often the fuel behind our boundless energy.
In her spare time Yasoda likes to study for her yacht master qualification.
